Car Accident

We got into a car accident on Saturday!! We were coming off the exit ramp and my light turned green. I started to go but a car raced through the red light and I slowed down to avoid a accident and the guy behind me ran into us!! Everyone is ok and thank God it wasn't my fault for once!!!

Benners wanted to watch "Buzby" so he and Charlie watched it together. He won't watch movies for more than 2 minutes but at least that's an improvement from not resting at all!! Mea and Aaron colored while the boys watched the movie and Jimmy was sound asleep!!

My Boundry Lines

Psalm 16:5-6

Today was a really good day with the kids. It wasn't without sin and temptations but I was able to see the grace of God at work in me and in them. I decided not to shower until I had a free moment where I wouldn't be tempted to be angry with the kids for getting into things while I was showering. (come on now...their 5, 3, 2 and 7 months, their gonna get into things, right?) So, we played, sang songs, went to walmart (in my pj's) had a picnic lunch outside, did a little school and cleaned the house. I was able to enjoy the kids and not rush through the day being "inconvenienced" by them. Thank you Lord for 4 gifts and for the wonderful boundary lines you have placed around me. I truly do have a beautiful inheritance.

My baby is getting too big!!

Jimmy James is getting so big. I've caught him on his hands and knee's several times this week :(

Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound. That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; was blind, but now I see.

Back on the BUS!

I gave in and had a pop at a party on saturday!! It was yummy! I am back on the bus though and haven't had one since!!!

Aaron asked me what the happiest part of my day was today. The answer is easy because it's the same everyday.....

Jimmy's Bangs

Jimmy James totally has bangs so I decided to put a barrette in it. He looks so cute. Aaron doesn't like it!! He's scooting all over the place and is so good. I love my Jimmy James!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

We had a special Valentine's Day dinner with the kids! They loved it! We ate Stromboli and RED JELL-O. We drank RED kool-aid and had valentine's cup cakes with frosting and sprinkles. Mea loved the decorations and kept thanking me for doing it. Aaron got me Burberry Brit perfume and I got him a tee-shirt and running shoes. (he's taking them back) Aaron got Mea play make-up and Lizzy from the movie CARS. I got Charlie Dirt McQueen, Doc Hudson, DJ, green Mater and Wingo from the movie CARS. I got Benny a new Thomas Train. They loved the whole day! Now were watching the movie Open Range and having a sleep over on the living room floor! We miss you all and love you so much. I thank God for my wonderful husband and bestest friend in the whole wide world...AARON. I love you Aaron with all of my heart. You are the greatest Valentine!

Stay at home Dad!

Aaron has been doing lots of baking lately. Two nights this week I came home to see that he had baked cookies. He is rather good at it too!! Go figure!! He is rather pleased with himself too. They are yummy!

Nothing new under the sun!

I came across this picture today and was immediately thanking God for all of those who had the great privilege of mothering before me...and have done it well! I thank God for your example of Joy in the midst of diaper's and peanut-butter and Jelly sandwiches, and your commitment to raising kids to the glory of GOD!! I love all of you and I thank God for you today and always!

PS Aunt Jenn-thank you so much for always letting us come and be apart of your family in Manistee. You exemplify what it means to be a servant and I hope one day my kids kids will find a picture of me and see the joy of the lord in my smile like yours is!! love ya!

Kid quote of the week!

OK...this is so cute!! I was looking at the scrapbooks with the kids and Mea asked how God put babies my tummy. I told her that God takes a little of daddy and a little of mommy and makes a baby.
