A night in the life of...THE ANDERSON'S!

The boys were soooo dirty so they had a tubber after mac and cheese. Jimmy loves taking baths. As you can see Benny has a busted up lip. I will post more pictures of that tomorrow and tell you what happened.

Straightening my hair.

Peter got home today. Scott Kay, Aaron and Pete were doing something crazy on the Internet. Aaron was laughing really hard.

Jimmy just sat in the wagon for a while and ate a brownie. Then he went to bed.

I totally forgot to take picture's of dinner because I wasn't planning on making dinner. We went to the Stewart's care group party and we were gonna eat there. The kids got hungry so I made them mac and cheese before the party. Sorry, I forgot to take picture's of that. (you didn't miss a thing!) They still ate there but it was mostly brownies, cookies, pop, cheese, garlic dip and more cookies! Oh yeah, cup cakes too! We had a lot of fun and the kids did too. We played bad mitten and chatted and ate lots of junk!! The kids rode bikes and played silly games. I can't wait to see what everyone else did.

He Givith More Grace

He Giveth More Grace

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater, He sendeth more strength when the labors increase; To added affliction He addeth His mercy; To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

When we have exhausted our store of endurance, When our strength has failed ere the day is half done, When we reach the end of our hoarded resources, Our Father's full giving is only begun.

Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision, Our God ever yearns His resources to share; Lean hard on the arm everlasting, availing; The Father both thee and thy load will upbear.

His love has no limit; His grace has no measure. His pow'r has no boundary known unto men; For out of His infinite riches in Jesus, He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again!

-Annie Johnson Flint

2Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

The first of MANY pool days...

We always know where to find Benny...at the opposite end of the pool than us!!!
James loved the water and just floated around in his little boat!!

Charlie is a bit intimated still. He just walked around the pool stealing other kids toys and ate a Ton of candy!!

PS...i thought it would be fun to do the night in the life of...all on the same night. Let's pick a night.

A night in the life of...

Ok...I'm totally copying the smitty's on this one. (The title of their blog yesterday) I thought it'd be a GREAT idea to pick a day (the same day that is) and for all of us bloggers to do a post titled, "A night in the life of..." you fill in the blank. It would be fun to see what we all did that night. OK!!! Tell all your blogger friends too. Let's pick a night and get back to each other. Love to everyone!!

Aaron has been SUPER busy at work this week so the kids and I have played outside a lot and went to the park a few times. We have had a good week and can't wait for daddy's day off!!

lately...

Aaron looking "cute as ever!"

I took the kids to the potter shop and we painted some pottery!! Fun! The boys were VERY tempted to touch everything in the store so I think i'll be taking Mea alone next time so we can do a little more.
Finding worms! They thought the worms needed some water so they dumped water in their container but it killed them all!! Charlie was very sad.

Benny has just learned how to drive the jeep alone. He loves it!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Happy Mother's Day Mom. (Jane)
I am so thankful to God for the many evidences of grace in your life. Thank you for the ways you sacrificed when we were young and gave up your time, food, clothes and life for Connie, Billie, Clay and I. (and the many other foster children we had living with us at different times)
Thank you for the way you modeled what it looked like to serve and love your husband the way you did dad. Thank you for modeling what it looks like to manage her home well and for allowing us CRAAAAAZY kids to be free and wild. I would never change anything about my childhood and I am so thankful that you trusted God to protect us and allowed us to be explorers. I thank God for you mom and hope you have a wonderful Mother's day.
Love,
Sar' Bear
Happy Mother's Day Mom. (Deb)
In the kindness and providence of God he gave me the best mother-in-law a girl could ask for. From the first day I met you I knew I not only loved your son but I loved you as well. You have welcomed me and loved me like I am your own . Deb, Every time I talk to Aaron about his childhood I am provoked by your example of a mom who would do anything and give anything for her children. You lay down your life and give your all to make your kids succeed. You are a mom who loves her kids and thinks the best of them no matter what happens. Not only have you done this when your children were small but I have experienced this first hand being married to Aaron and having your grand babies. I love the way you love and miss the kids. They love the way you love them too. I love that when Benny picks up the phone his first words are, "Heddo, Dee-Dee". Even though you can't see them as much as you'd like, the times you do get to are so special and ones that they will never forget. Thank you mom for loving us and being the best mom. We pray you have a blessed mother's day and we can't wait to see you in July!! Love you,
Scuba

HAPPY 29TH BIRTHDAY LOVE!

Aaron, I love you for so many more reason's than I could possibly tell you. You are the man of my dreams and the greatest gift outside of my savior. I will love you forever.

Why do I love you? Let me tell you...

I love the way you love God.
I love the way you love me.
I love the way you love mea, charlie, benny and jimmy.
I love the way you love your family.
I love the way you love my family.
I love the way you love Sovereign Grace Church.
I love your deep brown eyes, that light up when you smile.
I love your big muscles. (The Finished Product)
I love your tan.
I love that your 6'2.
I love that you would drop anything your doing to serve people.
I love the way you preach.
I love your athletic ability.
I love watching you play basketball, baseball and football.
I love your lips.
I love that your a hard worker.
I love your humility.
I love your laugh. (The way your eyes water and you nose gets runny)
I love that you love to bless me.
I love your passion for reading.
I love that you love fast food.(Because I love it too!!)

And last but not least I love that you chose me to love you for the rest of our lives!

“If every two were one then surely we. If ever man were loved by wife, then thee; If every wife were happy in a man,Compare with me, ye women, if ye can. I prize thy love more than whole mines of gold Or all the riches that the East doth hold. My love is sure that rivers cannot quench, Nor aught but love from thee give recompense. Thy love is such I can no way repay, The heavens reward thee manifold, I pray. Then while we live, in love let’s so persevere That when we live no more, we may live ever.”

So grateful for you Aaron,

Scuba

Long Week!

OK...so it's been a long and sinful week in the heart of mama Anderson! I have struggled all week with being joyful and kind to the kids. I was definitely still in Vacation-selfish mode. I struggled with wanting perfect obedience and a clean and peaceful house and NO interruptions along the way!! (Can't you just see all the idols in my heart) WAKE UP SARA!! God was so kind to convict me through his word, Aaron, the GREAT Spurgeon and 4 beautiful little kiddos! So...daily repentance to God and the kids is pretty much what my week looked like. Thank you God for your grace and fresh mercy today. (Yesterday was a much better day) Mea reminded me today, (I was tempted to be harsh with the boys as we were getting ready for church) that she prayed for me to be a kind and loving mommy today. So, hopefully I will post this week and will indeed be a better mommy for the GLORY OF GOD!!
