Crazy August...

Lizzy, Aaron and I went our to dinner in the city. It was a blast and we so enjoyed out time with Liz. What a kind God to give such a great friend who will take time out of her busy schedule to come and hang out with me and my CRAZY kids!! We love you Lizzy!!

I had Nina and CeCe spend the night when Aaron was gone. It went pretty well (except for Cece peeing on Mea's couch and floor!!) The kids watched Pipi Longstocking and ate brownies!! And stayed up until 11pm!!

Benners is offically potty trained!! I trained him while Aaron was out of town this week. He was sooo easy! I had forgot to put a diaper on him at lunch (after the pool) and he said, "mom, can I get down I have to go peep.(that how he says Pee) After that it's been great. He still wears a diaper at night. I took them all to the Disney store today and Ben got to get some new CARS underware. All the kids wanted to try them on.

OK, I am need of dinner ideas. I thought it might be fun to all post a favorite family dinner(s). Let's do it on Monday. Miss and love everyone...

Mea's 1st day of school

The whole family went to take Mea to school. Charlie loved it and wanted to go to.

We've been having a heat wave here. It's too hot to go outside for long periods of time but we were bored in the house yesterday so we filled the pool and played in the yard for a while. I shaved the boys heads(don't get mad Deb!!) I haven't done it all year and wanted to give them one good shave before fall.

Jimmy loves this little car. I just have to keep my eye on the boys because there has been a mysterious person known for sending Jimmy flyin' down the driveway!!

The 6am Club

Who's in?? Anyone interested in joining the 6am club with me? I totally need accountability to wake my butt up and have a quite time before the kids are awake. So...if anyone is interested in joining then let me know!!

Virginia Beach Vacation

Here's a small preview of our trip to Virginia Beach. We ended up going for two weeks. We had lots of fun visiting with family and friends and playing at the pool. (Thanks to Clay and Kate for getting us a free two week pass to the YMCA) We stayed in several different places and are so grateful for the VanRyckeghem's, Hughes and the Breaults for opening their homes to our loud and crazy family!! We had a great time but are grateful to be home and getting back into the swing of things around here. We missed all of our friends here are are very excited to go to church on Sunday. So...thanks be to God for the blessing of vacation, friends, family, church and lastly for his precious son who lived a perfect life and died a death that I deserved all for me a filthy sinner!!
