Happy 5th Birthday Charlie!!

Jimmy looks like he is screaming but he's actually laughing so hard at Mea swinging the light saber!

Thank you Scott for the gift...he absolutely LOVES it!!

Happy Birthday Charlie! It seems like it was just yesterday I was posting about Charlie turning 4! I can't believe how fast this year has gone! We had a good day celebrating Charlie. The kids have been sick so we weren't able to have Charlie's friends over for a party like we had planned:(
Charlie was so joyful still and loved just that we made his day special! He woke me up this morning and said, "Mom, I'm 5 today!" Then he went in the bathroom and turned on the light and screamed to me, "Mom, I'm BIGGER!" He is so cute! I felt bad that he didn't get to have a party...He was so kind though and was so grateful all day. Gramma Dee-Dee and Papa sent him some money so Aaron and the kids and I all went to target and he got to pick out some toys. He was SO excited! Thanks Gramma Dee Dee and Papa! We Love you! Then he chose Fire House Subs for his B-day dinner(thank you Lord - Easy on me!) We ate there and then came home and did cake and ice cream. Then we smashed the Dinosaur Pinata! Then we played musical chairs! The kids had a blast! Charlie said, "Mommy, this was the best birthday EVER!" I was so happy. Just goes to show you that you don't always have to have a big bash...God gives us so many things to be grateful for. I am grateful for Charlie and how he is teaching me to be thankful in all circumstances! I love you to the moon and back Char Char!! Happy Birthday - YOU ARE TOO BIG!

Happy Birthday to me!!

I celebrated my 30Th Birthday with a big bash! I love candy so the theme of the party was, "Juicy Couture candy party!" It was so fun - we danced and laughed watched a slide show and Aaron had a few friends encourage me. I am so blessed! I am thankful to God for thirty years - People keep asking me if it's hard turning 30! My answer is NO! I have so much to be thankful for -An AMAZING husband, adorable kids, family, friends and a great church! I can't wait to see what God has in store for my life in my thirty's. I expect there will be SO much JOY, SIN, CHANGE, SUFFERING and LAUGHTER . I hope in the next thirty years I will be more in AWE of the savior, AMAZED by his GRACE and MERCY and GRATEFUL for his forgiveness of my sins. I hope to ENJOY my kids more and more, LOVE my husband unselfishly, LAY my life down for my friends, family and church and make BIG of God and LESS of me. I hope to be unashamedly more in love with God and the next life than I am of this short life here that is fleeting. ALL BY HIS GRACE AND FOR HIS GLORY!! HAPPY 30Th BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

We love to play baseball with the kids when Aaron gets home from work and on his day off. I was gone the other night and Aaron and the kids were having races down the hill. Mea took a tumble and ate the pavement!!

Kennesaw Mountain

We took the kids to Kennesaw Mountain last week to have a picnic and then hike up and down the trail. They had a lot of fun. Mea and Charlie were champs and walked up and down the whole way by themselves...Ben and Jimmy were a tad bit tired! Aaron or I carried Jimmy the whole time and Ben about half. It was a lot of work but so fun.

Happy 7th Birthday MEA!!

Today is Mea's 7th birthday! I can't believe it...it in some ways breaks my heart and in lots of other ways is so exciting! It breaks my heart because she is not that little

baby with the lisp and beautiful blue eyes. She's not the little toddler who needs mommy to wipe her, get her dressed or buckle her in her car seat. She is however, the little girl who is learning to trust God to save her and cause her little heart to love him. The God who forgives all of her sins and causes her to love others(especially her brothers...which is hard sometimes!!). She's the little girl who loves to do crafts and is much more creative than her mommy. She is the cute little girl with hazel eyes that look just like her grandpa bill's. (my dad) I love that we get to get our nails painted together and that she loves to fix my hair. And lastly, I love that being Mea's mommy is teaching me more and more about the savior and his forgiveness of my sin's and my need for him. Thank you God that 7 years today you blessed me with my little princess...Magdalene Elizabeth Anderson!!

School and 9th anniversary!!

This was a very busy week! We started school on Tuesday...the kids are doing well and enjoying it! I love schooling them too. I don't really do much with Charlie just the basic preschool stuff. Ben is learning right along with him - it's fun to see them learn. On Thursday was Aaron and I's 9Th anniversary! We had planned on going to buck head and walking around and going to dinner at Maggiano's. ( our favorite) While we were down there we decided to hot wire a hotel and see what we could get it for. We ended up getting the Hyatt for only 96 bucks! We had 220.00 in gift cards and cash from friends so our whole anniversary was paid for!! Because we didn't plan on staying we certainty weren't prepared - we had no extra clothes, toothbrushes, make -up, pj's....NOTHING!! It was an adventure and we had Lot's of fun. Thank you to all of our friends for making our day so special. We are grateful for the phone calls, prayers, cards, texts and the gifts! We love you all! Here's to another wonderful year loving my best friend and growing more and more in love with the savior - all by the grace of GOD!
