Off to Michigan we go...

We're headed to the great state of MICHIGAN tomorrow after church. Aaron decided on Thursday night that we could go!! YEAH!!! We are so excited to see all of our family and friends. We (well...really me) love to walk up-town and be real tourists! So, here's a sampling of what were excited to do:

1. See family and friends
2. Eat Big Al's(BEST pizza subs, bread sticks, Stromboli and sub sauce)
3. Laying in the sun
4. Walking on the pier
5. Blue moon ice cream (Mooney's- can't find it anywhere in south)
6. Running around 1st street and 5th avenue beach (4 mile run)
7. Beach (Michigan beaches are Beautiful)
8. The chocolate house (Best fudge and Carmel popcorn around!)
9. Small town living (lock your doors...yeah right!)
10. Get new Manistee Tee-shirts(like we need any more!)
11. (Aaron) Golfing with friends from high school (great opportunity to share the gospel)
12. Fourth of July fireworks at the beach
13. Rocket ship park (a park we loved when we were little and now our kids LOVE it)
14. Walking on the River walk (1 1/2 mile walk on the river)
I guess that's it for now, there are so many more things are are excited about. I can't wait to post some pictures when we get back.

Stone Mountain and Concert in the park and morning diaster!!

Aaron and I slept in and woke up Charlie and Benny having a Tea Party and having a ball!! They dumbed out a brand new jug of apple juice and picked apart the brownies. Thankfully Aaron found it first and I wasn't tempted to anger!

Here's Benny hitting the animals. He would totally whack them or throw rocks at them then run away screaming like they were gonna get him!!

We went to Stone Mountain today with the kids. Aaron was exhausted the whole time. The kids really enjoyed it though. We rode in the sky ride to the top of the mountain, pet the farm animals, and bounced in the barn!! We also had the opportunity to attend a concert at a park in Buckhead. We had GREAT seats and catered food. YUMMY!!

What we've been up to lately...

Tonight we had care group. We are so grateful for the leaders God has given us. We decided to bless them and have pizza, pop, and salad. Dessert was made by Lori G.

Benny didn't have a nap and was SO tired! You can see the drool on his chin and neck!!

Jimmy found the brownies...and loved them!!

So I'm a mean mommy sometimes-I was barking like a dog and scared Jimmy!! Oops!!

We had the Ellise's spend the night. Mea had so much fun with Annie and Bridgett (Gidgett). They stayed up until 12am laughing. I took them to Wendy's for lunch and we had lots of fun.

Lately we've been outside alot! Going to friends pools, beach, and our own pool. We went to a friends pool from church and the kids had a blast. Charlie finally will swim alone. Aaron put his life jacket on and threw him and away he went. No more fears...he loves it! He will even swim with the arm floaties on-if he can get them off Ben. Benny loves to float all over the pool. Occasionally he gets a little in his mouth and starts freaking out but pretty much he's good to go!! Mea is becoming a little fish. Rachy came over today and Mea had a blast. I could hear her laughing all the way at the other end of the pool. Jimmy and I float around and eventually get to cold and sit and watch everyone.

Father's Day with Friends!!

We had a fun and relaxing day today! Aaron preached and then came home and rested for a while. We watched golf and ate pulled bbq roast. Then at about 5pm we went to the Ganster's pool with the Ganster's, Ellise's, Hollis's and Bracco's. It was really fun. The kids loved the little pool for kids and the slide was soooo fun. Aaron played tennis with Greg, Chandler and Andy. We are so thankful that God has given us such great friends!!!

I love to watch Jimmy sleeping. I think it's because he's my last baby and I'm trying to cherish all the little things we tend to forget. He is so precious!!

Billie and I just couldn't resist this shot. Jimmy buns are soooooo much bigger than Jordy's!! Jimmy is officially president of the BIG BOOTY BABY CLUB!!

Like father like son!! Charlie and Aaron are the best sleepers in the house!! They both could fall asleep in a tornado and sleep for hours!! Aaron's favorite line is,"I just need 10 minutes!" We all really know 10 minutes means 2 hours!! We are happy to let him rest!!
Jimmy learned to climb the steps, thankfully he hasn't fallen yet!!
