Virginia Beach Vacation

Here's a small preview of our trip to Virginia Beach. We ended up going for two weeks. We had lots of fun visiting with family and friends and playing at the pool. (Thanks to Clay and Kate for getting us a free two week pass to the YMCA) We stayed in several different places and are so grateful for the VanRyckeghem's, Hughes and the Breaults for opening their homes to our loud and crazy family!! We had a great time but are grateful to be home and getting back into the swing of things around here. We missed all of our friends here are are very excited to go to church on Sunday. So...thanks be to God for the blessing of vacation, friends, family, church and lastly for his precious son who lived a perfect life and died a death that I deserved all for me a filthy sinner!! How grateful I am!! More pictures to come---love---sara

Happy 1st Birthday James Tyler!!

Happy birthday baby boy! When mommy and daddy thought we were done having babies God surprised us with you! When I thought a girl would be the perfect baby, I was wrong...you are the perfect baby. James you stole my heart the second I held you in my arms. You are the first baby that mommy and daddy were all alone with. How special it was to hold you and express my gratefulness to God for you. You were a big boy, 9 lbs 2 ounces! And still are. You loved being held and cuddled. I remember you would have trouble at first sleeping in your bassinet but as soon as mommy put you on my shoulder---you were a goner!!! I loved it and cherished every minute of holding you. I didn't care if you didn't like your bed, you loved your mommy and that is more important. You weren't so fond of daddy's shoulder at first, so I got lots of sleepy time with you. From then on it was smooth sailing. You hardly ever cry and you love to cuddle. You love sleeping in your pack n play and often have to be woken up by mommy in the morning. You still don't walk but that's OK with mommy. I will hold you forever!! I love you James Tyler Anderson and have cherished everyday of your life. You are my precious baby boy and will be forever!!!

Love, Mommy

Michigan Vacation...

The start of our vacation. The kids did really well on the way up. We had a GREAT hotel room too. I saw a mini-bike just like the one I had when I was younger! Enjoy the photo's...there's a ton of them!!

Mea now has lost her two front teeth!!

The boys had such a great time with Aaron's dad.(papa) They loved playin' in the dirt, riding bikes, playing horseshoe's and running around the house. They loved uncle Lou too!

THE CARNIVAL AT 1st STREET BEACH

Charlie rode almost all the kid rides. He LOVED them. He even rode the Ferris wheel with Aaron!

FIREWORKS WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS

LAZY BEACH DAYS

THE DRIVE HOME

We had so much fun at the beach. We were blessed with four LONG days to just lay around and get tan. (we went to the beach from 10:30am to 5-6pm) Aaron was such a great beach dad. He brought his dad's shovel every day and dug a big hole for the kids. He built castle's and swam. We took walks on the pier and saw the big fish, boat's, and ate lot's of sand. We walked the river walk and got blue moon ice cream. We ate Big Al's everyday except one. (we still aren't sick of it) We went to the Forta Jewel Eye parade. (that's how Michigander's say Forth of July)Aaron and I went to the fire works at the beach. Saw old friends. Aaron golfed with one of his best friends from high school. I got to help a man who was what looked like having a stroke on the beach and got to pray for him. Had lots of yummy food from Aaron's mom. Running up-town. We rode carnival rides, ate elephant ears, carmel apples and cotton candy! The drive home was a little rough! Jimmy had enough of his car seat and our hotel room was a little ghetto!! We made it though and are so thankful for a great vacation to Gramma Dee-Dee and Papa's house. We are so grateful to God for them. (and the BEAUTIFUL beach!!)

How blessed I am...

A friend of mine just found out she's pregnant with baby number 4!! She quoted this on her blog and I was crying. I am so blessed with my four babies and so thankful to God for them. Enjoy!!

I shall now have one mouth the more to fill, and two feet more to shoe;
more disturbed nights, more laborious days,
and less leisure for visiting, reading, music and drawing.
This is one side of the story to be sure, but I look at the other.
Here is a sweet, fragrant mouth to kiss;
here are two more feet to make music with their pattering about my nursery.
Here is a soul to train for God, and the body in which it dwells is worthy of all it will cost,
since it is the abode of a kingly tenant.
I may see less of friends, but I have gained one dearer than them all,
to whom, while I minister in Christ’s name,
I make a willing sacrifice of what little leisure for my own recreation, my other darlings had left me.
Yes, my precious baby, you are welcome to your mother’s heart,
welcome to her time, her strength, her health, her tenderest cares, to her life-long prayers!
Oh, how rich I am, how truly, how wondrously blest!”

9. Small town living (lock your doors...yeah right!)

Stone Mountain and Concert in the park and morning diaster!!

Aaron and I slept in and woke up Charlie and Benny having a Tea Party and having a ball!! They dumbed out a brand new jug of apple juice and picked apart the brownies. Thankfully Aaron found it first and I wasn't tempted to anger!

Here's Benny hitting the animals. He would totally whack them or throw rocks at them then run away screaming like they were gonna get him!!

We went to Stone Mountain today with the kids. Aaron was exhausted the whole time. The kids really enjoyed it though. We rode in the sky ride to the top of the mountain, pet the farm animals, and bounced in the barn!! We also had the opportunity to attend a concert at a park in Buckhead. We had GREAT seats and catered food. YUMMY!!
