Finally...an update!

Billie, Clay and I went to Michigan to visit my grandma. She is not doing well and we wanted a chance to see her and love on her before she goes home to the place she was created for...HEAVEN! She was sweet and it was so wonderful being with Clay and sissy. We had a nice time visiting mom and Dave and Dad and Jennifer too. It was definetly one of the highlights of the year!


Mea got her hair cut. I had some better pictures but somehow I lost them.

The kids adopted grandma Susan made them these adorable pilgram hats for Thanksgiving. We had a great Thanksgiving. I kicked off the day running in the 5k Gobble Jog. Then we started getting ready for the Stewart's to come over for dinner. This year we deep fried the Turkey. It was yummy. Then the Hall's and our neighbor's came over for dessert and some games. It was a little sad not being with all of the family for the Holiday but we are sure excited about Christmas!! Thank you God for friends and family. You are so GOOD to us!!

We went to the 4-D Polar express Christmas movie. It was wonderful. Benners fell asleep and Charlie was SO mad that the reindeer spit on him!!

We ended the night with a parade. The kids were so grateful to go and spend a fun day at Stone Mountain.

This past weekend I watched a friends girls so she and her husband could get away. I loved having little girl's in the house and Mea LOVED having little girls to play with. She and Emma (the oldest-she's 3) stayed up late each night reading books and laughing. Mea was in sister heaven for two days. Benners and Nelle had a few issues (she's 2-so is he...enough said!!) but the two days really were a blast and the girls are so sweet. We were right off the heels of Halloween so we had a TON of candy. Here we are eating candy and laughing at the Tootsie rolls in our teeth!

Trick or Treat...

Ben would walk up to the door and take his hat off and say, "Trick or Treat"! He was so adorable!!



James was a wild man! I let him out of the stroller and he was like a wild tiger on the loose!!
James and Hudson would occasionally fight over the sucker. (They both had their own...it just depended on who ate theirs the fastest!)
Charlie was so tired at the end. He just wanted to chill in the stroller and eat his candy. Ben and Mea could have ran around and got more candy for hours!

Here are some photo's of the kids trick or treating. We had lots of fun with the Rogers and we got SO much candy. We're so grateful for our friends. (and lots of candy!!)
