Long Week!

OK...so it's been a long and sinful week in the heart of mama Anderson! I have struggled all week with being joyful and kind to the kids. I was definitely still in Vacation-selfish mode. I struggled with wanting perfect obedience and a clean and peaceful house and NO interruptions along the way!! (Can't you just see all the idols in my heart) WAKE UP SARA!! God was so kind to convict me through his word, Aaron, the GREAT Spurgeon and 4 beautiful little kiddos! So...daily repentance to God and the kids is pretty much what my week looked like. Thank you God for your grace and fresh mercy today. (Yesterday was a much better day) Mea reminded me today, (I was tempted to be harsh with the boys as we were getting ready for church) that she prayed for me to be a kind and loving mommy today. So, hopefully I will post this week and will indeed be a better mommy for the GLORY OF GOD!!

Sara,
You are such a fun mom, you enjoy your children and give them lots of opportunities for fun memories. You are a great example to me! May your week go much better - throw off the sin which so easily entangles and run the race, my dear sister with pererverence - and let your kiddos see the power of God at work in you. When our sin comes out it is such an opportunity to share the gospel with our children. May He be glorified in you this week! I love and miss you tons!

Sara-thanks for your humble heart in sharing! Its encouraging to hear the Lord show His faithfulness to you.... another great testimony to remember when I fall into the same temptations. Hope you have a great week and your kiddies call you blessed!

Bear,
Thanks for your humility to share your struggles...God opposes the proud BUT gives grace to the humble. No better way to present the Gospel to your little ones than to show them mommies need for a Savior! It's in the little moments of everyday that God wants and desires us to cry out to Him and He becomes our very present help! Love you so much Sar and hope to see you soon!!
