The start of our vacation. The kids did really well on the way up. We had a GREAT hotel room too. I saw a mini-bike just like the one I had when I was younger! Enjoy the photo's...there's a ton of them!!
Mea now has lost her two front teeth!!
The boys had such a great time with Aaron's dad.(papa) They loved playin' in the dirt, riding bikes, playing horseshoe's and running around the house. They loved uncle Lou too!

Charlie rode almost all the kid rides. He LOVED them. He even rode the Ferris wheel with Aaron!

We had so much fun at the beach. We were blessed with four LONG days to just lay around and get tan. (we went to the beach from 10:30am to 5-6pm) Aaron was such a great beach dad. He brought his dad's shovel every day and dug a big hole for the kids. He built castle's and swam. We took walks on the pier and saw the big fish, boat's, and ate lot's of sand. We walked the river walk and got blue moon ice cream. We ate Big Al's everyday except one. (we still aren't sick of it) We went to the Forta Jewel Eye parade. (that's how Michigander's say Forth of July)Aaron and I went to the fire works at the beach. Saw old friends. Aaron golfed with one of his best friends from high school. I got to help a man who was what looked like having a stroke on the beach and got to pray for him. Had lots of yummy food from Aaron's mom. Running up-town. We rode carnival rides, ate elephant ears, carmel apples and cotton candy! The drive home was a little rough! Jimmy had enough of his car seat and our hotel room was a little ghetto!! We made it though and are so thankful for a great vacation to Gramma Dee-Dee and Papa's house. We are so grateful to God for them. (and the BEAUTIFUL beach!!)

Sar sounds like you had a wonderful relaxing vacation, special time with family and created some great memories with your "kidos". Glad you made it back safely...I'm sure everyone at church is glad you're back as well

Oh! It looks like so much fun! Were the fireworks over Manistee Lake? Ben's hair looks like it lightened up. Lou looks sooo tan. I miss him! I miss everyone! Did anybody eat a caramel apple? It's downtown, not uptown :) I am so glad that you got to go! Love you!
I hope we can all plan a trip up there next year. What a fun time. I am glad you all got to go but I really missed you here. Love you

Just hearing all you were able to do takes away my saddness in not being able to see you.. I love how you explained 4th of july.. That is so true..
Also made me cry to think "how kind of God that you were at the beach, in michigan, and able to pray with someone.
I love those oppurtunities yet find i don't alway's respond when i should or could have.selfish on my part, or just plain PRIDEFUL!
I look so forward to seeing you all, and as i told bill, maybe you and Her and the kid's could pick or meet Dave and myself at the airport...
But let me know, cause i want to have the kid's something special!
